Morgan Dietz
LICSW
I’m a licensed clinical social worker offering down-to-earth therapy to individuals and couples in Minnesota and Missouri.
Whether you're navigating relationship issues, perinatal mental health, anxiety, a major life change, or simply trying to catch your breath, I’m here to meet you where you are. My approach is holistic and grounded, addressing the whole person—mind body, spirit, and the environment in which you exist. I blend evidence-based techniques with genuine, human conversation, so sessions feel natural, safe, and productive. Together, we’ll cultivate practical resources, build fresh perspectives, and set goals that actually fit your life and support lasting change.
I consider it a profound honor and privilege to witness another person’s story up close, particularly during times of challenge and uncertainty. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where you can let your guard down, untangle what’s weighing you down, and truly heal at the root.
This work is deeply meaningful to me, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My Approach
My approach is warm, holistic, and collaborative. Because I believe true healing happens at the root, our work involves tending to the whole person—reconnecting mind and body, and addressing how your environment impacts how you move through the world.
I draw from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based perspectives, and mindfulness-based strategies, while also relying on intuition to guide our work together. I approach sessions with curiosity, honesty, and a touch of humor to support clients in leading the lives they want for themselves. Ultimately, I believe clients are the experts of their own stories, and that healing occurs when you feel safe enough to be vulnerable with yourself and open to growth.
Together in session, we’ll slow down, gain meaningful insights into what may be getting in the way, and find a path forward with greater intentionality and peace. My hope is to help you increase self-awareness, live more authentically, and foster deeper connections and healthier relationships.
Outside of Therapy
I grew up in Wisconsin, but have lived across Minneapolis, Boston, and St. Louis for college and graduate school.
Today, my husband and I call St. Paul home, where we love living in the Midwest close to our community and support system.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me reading or listening to a good podcast, playing tennis, baking a sourdough loaf, or trying out a new local restaurant. I also love frequenting the St. Paul Farmers Market and hosting cozy dinner parties for friends and family.
